Department of Transport - Dangerous Goods Awareness Campaign

The National Department of Transport and the RPMASA Dangerous Goods Supply Chain Task Team have launched a Dangerous Goods Awareness Campaign for both the Public and Industry.

One poster has key messages for the Public to be more aware of the dangers of chemical accidents or spills, so to stay away if they see those hazard diamonds.

The other 2 posters are for Industry – one is similar to that for the public, to educate regarding the 9 Dangerous Goods Classes + reminding Industry of the need for Risk Assessments under various Regulations, and the other poster is to remind Industry of their Dangerous Goods responsibilities, together with some potential consequences of non-compliance.
