The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) has confirmed that the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh) is the recognised professional body for Occupational Health and Safety in South Africa. Saiosh was approved by SAQA as a Professional Body for the purpose of the NQF Act, Act 67 of 2008.

2. You agree to abide by the Saiosh Code of Conduct of Ethics and Disciplinary Regulations
3. You agree to abide by the Saiosh CPD Policy
4. You agree to abide by the Saiosh Trademark Policy and only use the trademarks as permitted
5. You agree to and have read and understand the Saiosh Privacy Policy
6. You agree that Saiosh will keep your personal data on a national database and submit it to SAQA
   
7. You agree that you are responsible to manage your online membership profile visibility settings 
8. You agree that Saiosh may from time to time send you information on events and services
9. You agree that Saiosh will communicate with you via e-mail
10. You agree to update your contact details on your online membership profile.
