Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act No. 85 of 1993)

The chief inspector has in terms of section 27(1) of the said Act, and by virtue of the powers delegated to me by the Minister of Employment and Labour in terms of section 42(1) of the Act, after consultation with the Advisory Council for Occupational Health and Safety, hereby, under section 44 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act No. 85 of 1993), as amended, incorporate into the Electrical Machinery Regulations, 2011 and the Electrical Installation Regulations, 2009, the national code of practice specified in the Schedule and shall come into effect on 1 November 2022.
