Proposed Regulations Relating to the Surveillance and
Control of Notifiable Medical Conditions: Amendments

The Minister of Health, on 15 March 2022, published proposed regulations relating to the surveillance and control of notifiable medical conditions. The intention is that these regulations will replace the Covid-19 control measures that were in place and published under the Disaster Management Act.

Saiosh appointed a Technical Committee (TC) to compile comments on the proposed regulations. Saiosh also opened a Technical Forum where members could submit their comments. All constructive comments received on the forum were considered and the TC concluded its work and submitted a consolidated set of comments to the Department of Health on 7 April 2002.
