   Covid‑19 IOSH Webinar: Covid‑19 and the global food supply chain: safety and health impacts and solutions.   Thursday 30 April 2020: 13.30 – 15.00   We must maintain global food supplies, effective trading relationships and healthy food supply chains at all times. Now, as societies and economies worldwide battle with the effects of the corona virus pandemic, these needs are even more critical, as is the safety and health of essential food industry workers.
 This webinar will explore safety and health issues and impacts on working people working in agriculture through to processing, manufacturing and retail as they deliver essential services to billions of citizens affected by lockdown measures. Presenters will discuss mitigations and solutions from multilateral policy and regulatory perspectives as well as through the lens of OSH professionals ‘on the ground’.
 
 The presenters will include representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), World Trade Organization (WTO), International Labour Organization (ILO), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) as well as OSH professionals from IOSH's Rural Industries Group and major food retailers ‐ all giving valuable perspectives and answering your important questions.
