As part of our series of free webinars produced against the backdrop of Covid-19, this one will provide up-to-date information in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) on the global risks and challenges faced by health professionals as well as understanding the lessons learnt from other countries.
WHO will update us on the current challenges faced by health professionals around:
• Infection, prevention and control
• Mental health, wellbeing and psychosocial support for health workers
Our presenter from IOSH’s Health and Social Care Group will give an update on current risks and challenges faced in health and social care settings and what measures are being implemented.
Discussions will cover to what extent pre-existing OSH services in healthcare facilities were useful to respond to the Covid-19 crisis and will provide OSH practical guidance and implementation in health facilities.
