Managing workplace safety and health in response to COVID-19

Against the backdrop of COVID-19, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is launching a series of webinars for occupational safety and health professionals in collaboration with partner organisations around the world.

To kickstart this series, IOSH, the global Chartered body for safety and health professionals, will provide up-to-date information in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) on the global COVID-19 situation. We will also give recommendations and guidance on prevention measures for all workplaces, helping to ensure you are doing everything you can to protect the safety, health and wellbeing of workers during this challenging time.

The webinar will be presented by Dr Ivan D.Ivanov, MD, PhD, Team Lead of Occupational and Workplace Health at WHO.

In this webinar, we will cover:
• Introduction and update on the global COVID-19 situation - WHO
• WHO’s recommendations for preparedness and response to COVID-19 in the workplace
• Q&As – 20 mins

There will be the opportunity for a Q&A session at the end of the webinar, where you can ask any questions you may have.
