PROPOSED REGULATIONS TO PHASE-OUT THE PERSISTENT USE OF ORGANIC POLLUTANTS

National Environmental Management Act and Regulations (107/1998)

The Minister of Environmental Affairs has, under section 44(1)(a A) read with section 47 of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), given notice of her intention to Phase-out the Use of Persistent Organic Pollutants in the Schedule.

Members of the public are invited to submit to the Minister, within 30 days of the publication of this Notice in the Gazette, written representations or objections.
