Top Student of the Year Award 2018

• Are you studying for your National Diploma in Safety Management or similar Higher Education qualification?
• Are you now working through your Third Year subjects?
• Did you doexceptionally wellat the end of your Second Year Studies?

If the answer to all three questions is YES then you could be in line for the “Top Student of the Year” award.

What is this award all about?

One of the Saiosh objectives is to assist members in improving their knowledge and skills. Obtaining a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental or Risk Management is one of the avenues for members to improve their qualifications.

How is the Top Student of the Year awarded?

• If your second year results were exceptional you can apply to Saiosh to be considered as the Top Student
• All the applications received will be reviewed Saiosh who will select a winner

What happens to the Top Student of the Year?

1. There is a financial award of R5 000.00 which will be paid into the student’s academic fees.
2. The official award will be handed to the winning Top Student of the Year at the 2018 Saiosh Health and Safety Conference Dinner /Awards Function at Gallagher Estate on 22 May 2018
3. In addition the Top Student gets a floating trophy, certificate AND free attendance at the 2018 Saiosh Health and Safety Conference on 22-23 May 2018 all to the value of R10 000.00

How does a Saiosh member apply for this award?

If you are a Saiosh member that are in good standing (membership fee and CPD up to date) and meet the criteria as stipulated above, you can apply for this award online by clicking HERE
