 Moses Pudikabekwa

 |  Saiosh Chartered Member, Moses Pudikabekwa, was recently appointed by the Minister of Labour to serve on the Advisory Council for Occupational Health and Safety as a specialist for Occupational Safety. This position was previously held by Saiosh CEO, Neels Nortjé, but has been vacant since April 2016. Saiosh welcomes the appointment of Moses to this position.
   Work Experience:   Moses has 37 years work experience which extends over Mining (Dilokong Chrome Mine), Heavy Chemical Industry and Explosives (AECI & SASOL), Academia (TNG) and Government (DOL) and Electricity Generation (Eskom).
   Positions Held:   He held numerous positions including: Learner Metallurgist and Plant Supervisor (Dilokong Chrome Mine); Development Technician (AECI); Lecturer, Dean of Engineering (Technikon Northern Gauteng) Director: Explosives and Civil Engineering, Chief Director and National Chief Inspector (Department of Labour); Manager SHE Audits (Sasol); Manager Safety, Insurance and Security, Manager Environmental Sciences, Manager Business Enablement, Chief Advisor Environmental Management (Eskom).
   Expertise:   His is an expert in SHERQ, ISO Management Systems and Auditing. HAZOP Studies; Performance Management (MBO). Accident Investigations and Legal application and interpretation on SHE regulations.
   Competencies:   Occupational General Management, Strategic Management’ Health and Safety. Sustainable Development. Resource on SHERQ, Consulting and Incident Investigations.
