Neels Nortjé started his working career with ESKOM in 1981 where he qualified as an Architectural Draughtsman. In 1986 he changed his career to Occupational Safety Risk Management and completed a National Diploma in Safety Management. He also holds a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering N qualification.

He has been practicing in the field of Occupational Health and Safety for the past 30 years. He was appointed by the Minister of Labour to serve on the Minister's Advisory Council for Occupational Health and Safety (ACOHS). Neels is a Chartered Member of Saiosh (CMSaiosh) and a Chartered Member of IOSH UK (CMIOSH). He is a founder member and current CEO of Saiosh, the largest

Health and Safety Professional Body in Africa with more than 8500 members.

With 25 years in the field, Sean Chester is currently the Technical Director at Apex Environmental, a DoL Approved Inspection Authority.As a technical manager, Sean helps oversee the Mentorship Programmes of 22 employees in both the Occupational Hygiene and Environmental divisions.
