NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given of the 4th South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Annual General Meeting to be held on 5 November 2015 at 17:00 at 40 Essex Terrace, Westville, Durban.

General Conditions

• The Annual General Meeting of the Institute shall be held not later than 31 December of each year
• The Secretary shall send the notice of the Annual General Meeting to all the members of the Institute at least 30 days prior to the scheduled date of the meeting
• A Quorum shall consist of a minimum of 50 members in good standing. In the event of there being no Quorum the meeting shall stand adjourned for 15 minutes after which, if no more members arrive then the members so present shall constitute the Quorum
• Any matters requiring a vote shall require two thirds of those present to approve the motion
• Only members that are in good standing may vote at the AGM
• A proxy voting request may be sent to the Secretary at info@saiosh.co.za 14 days prior to the AGM
• Election of Council Office Bearers does not take place at the AGM. This is a function of the Council
• The audited financial report will be made available at the AGM
• The amended constitution is available on the "About" page of the Saiosh website
• A copy of the AGM minutes dated 6 November 2014 is available for download from the AGM RSVP page
