Get your Course or Event   Verified by Saiosh

Saiosh Course Verification:

Only courses that meet the academic criteria for registration at Technical Health and Safety Officer (TechSaiosh) and Graduate Health and Safety Practitioner (GradSaiosh) qualify for Saiosh course verification. The qualification level for TechSaiosh is NQF level 5 qualification with 256 credits and for GradSaiosh is NQF level 6 diploma with 360 credits. Application for Saiosh course verification for foreign qualifications must be accompanied with a SAQA verification certificate. 

Saiosh Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Verification:

Short skills courses with Health and Safety content e.g. 1 to 5 day courses can be verified by Saiosh for CPD and awarded with CPD points. Events such as Health and Safety Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and Summits can also be CPD verified. 

Saiosh members that successfully completed a Saiosh CPD verified course / event can claim the number of Saiosh CPD points online, on their Saiosh membership profile.

(Saiosh CPD Verification has no bearing on SAQA, QCTO or CETA accreditation)

In order for Saiosh to verify a course or event we require the following:

• Course / Event Title
• Modules / Topics (outline only)
• Duration and,
• SAQA NQF verification (for course verification)
  

The above information with a request for verification must be emailed to admin@saiosh.co.za

Verification Certificates and Logos:

Once a course or event has been verified the provider will be issued with a Saiosh verification certificate as well as a Saiosh verification logo. These can be used for marketing to inform potential students / attendees that the course / event has been verified by Saiosh.

Cost:

Saiosh offer the verification service at a discounted rate of R150 excl. VAT per verification to Saiosh Corporate Members. Non Corporate Members will be charged R2500 excl. VAT per verification.

Validity Period:

Verifications are linked to annual Corporate Membership and will expire on 1 March of each year. 

Use of Saiosh Verification Logos:

Saiosh logos and trademarks may only be uses as prescribed in the Saiosh Trademark Policy. Download the policy HERE
